The course site is the primary source of truth for this course, at no cost to students. These open sources support and extend it:

Every reading this course assigns is openly available online at no cost, and the unit notes are written to stand on their own. The open graduate and inference references are where a student goes for a second treatment, more worked practice, and past problem sets. The Hogg, McKean, and Craig text, Introduction to Mathematical Statistics, is an optional reference only: a used, borrowed, or library copy is enough, purchase is never required, and the unit notes give the optional chapter alignment in words rather than depending on it. R and Quarto are free, and no paid homework platform is used anywhere in the course.
